PBA is the Nebraska Chapter of the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America. It has currently a membership of around 100 individuals from many different professions all with blacksmithing as a common interest. The purpose of the organization is to promote education in the art and techniques of blacksmithing. We attempt to hold a teaching meeting at least every other month through out the year at some member’s shop in different parts of the state. Periodically newsletters are published with information regarding chapter business, general information, “how to” information for forging, and schedules of events.
